Patent Consultant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategically minded Patent Consultant to join our Intellectual Property team. In this role, you will advise clients on all aspects of patent protection, from drafting and filing to prosecution and portfolio management. You’ll play a critical role in helping companies safeguard their innovations and align their patent strategy with broader business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct patentability assessments, freedom-to-operate analyses, and prior art searches
• Draft and file patent applications in compliance with national and international regulations (e.g., EPO, USPTO, WIPO)
• Manage and prosecute patent applications through various jurisdictions
• Advise clients on IP strategy, portfolio development, and competitive positioning
• Liaise with patent offices, foreign associates, and legal teams to coordinate filings and respond to office actions
• Analyze technical disclosures and R&D outputs for potential protection opportunities
• Stay up-to-date with legal developments in IP law and provide strategic updates to clients
• Support litigation or enforcement efforts by providing technical and legal expertise
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, legal, and business development
