Méridor Kongota Ndelo joins us in Lisbon HQ from Inventa DR Congo

Inventa had the pleasure of welcoming Méridor Kongota Ndelo to our headquarters in Lisbon. Méridor is a Lawyer and Trademark and Patent Attorney at our office in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. During his visit, insightful and productive meetings were held to discuss strategies for strengthening intellectual property (IP) in DR Congo.

Inventa welcomes EUIPO at headquarters in Lisbon

On September 18, Inventa had a visit from EUIPO - European Union Intellectual Property Office in our headquarters, in Lisbon. It was a pleasure to meet Alina Butuman (Key Account Manager), Tony Quintaneira Conde (examiner) and  Pedro Duarte Guimarães (Head of Service - TM Examination for Key Accounts).

Inventa expands its presence in Africa with a new office in DR Congo

Inventa is pleased to announce the opening of its office in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo). This expansion marks a significant milestone in Inventa’s growth strategy and commitment to providing high-level Intellectual Property (IP) services across Africa.

The new office, strategically located in Gombe, Kinshasa, will enable Inventa to deliver high-quality IP services, focusing on protecting IP assets in the country and collaborating with local authorities to combat counterfeit products and enforce intellectual property rights.

Inventa International strengthens the team with two new members

Inventa International recently reinforced its team with the entry of Marisol Cardoso, as Patent Consultant, and Helga Mota, for the role of Paralegal.

With the hiring of Marisol Cardoso, Inventa International intends to reinforce the consultancy specialized in patent protection to its clients. Marisol has a solid career in Intellectual Property, worked for more than a decade as a Technical Patent Consultant. Currently, she is also attending the Master in Economics and Management of Science, Technology and Innovation at ISEG, in Lisbon.

Crystal Zhang joins Inventa International team

Inventa International has just reinforced its team by hiring Crystal Zhang, who will take the role of IP Legal Consultant.

Crystal will support Chinese speaking clients, on protecting their Intellectual Property (IP) assets in all jurisdictions covered by Inventa International. Due to her legal background and previous experience working in different business areas, she’ll also contribute to the setup of the best strategies to protect our clients IP interests.

Inventa International reinforces Africa legal team

Júlia Coutinho has recently joined Inventa International to occupy the IP Legal Consultant position, thus reinforcing Africa's legal team.

With background training and professional experience in Law, Júlia supports the clients in the protection of their Intellectual Property (IP) interests across the African jurisdictions, ensuring that all legal procedures comply with the local legal requirements.

Inventa International gathers the team for Team Building event

Inventa International team got together for its annual Team Building activity.

The event focused on promoting not only the team spirit as well as the wellbeing and physical activity of the workers. Padel, Football and Zumba were the chosen sports that helped to promote teamwork and fun between coworkers from different departments.
