Portugal 

On November 16, Inventa Nigeria attended the Africa Startup Festival (ASF), a vibrant gathering of young professionals, founders and ambitious entrepreneurs from across the African continent. The ASF featured discussions on innovation, deal-making, and strategic collaboration within the startup ecosystem.

From November 12 to 15, Daniel Reis Nobre attended the INTA Leadership Meeting in New Orleans (Louisiana, USA), joining committee members of INTA to discuss a variety of emerging IP Topics. 

During the four day-event attendees had the opportunity to expand and strengthen their networks, as well as their skills through bootcamps, workshops and the “Leadership Lab” interactive sessions.

The 2024 AIPPI World Congress took place in Hangzhou, China, from October 19th to the 22nd, bringing together professionals from across the global intellectual property (IP) community. The event covered a broad range of key IP topics, including examinations, IP protection, trademarks, and patents.

Inventa was present at the 22nd Open Forum of the International Federation of Intellectual Property Attorneys (FICPI), which took place from September 25 to 28 in Madrid, Spain.

The event sessions delved into compelling topics on trademarks, patents, and designs, alongside essential practice management insights, including leadership – all of which are highly relevant and valuable for IP professionals. 

On September 13 and 14, 2024 the 13th edition of the China Intellectual Property Annual Conference (CIPAC) took place in Beijing, China.

The event brought together industry professionals to discuss a range of intellectual property related topics, such as IP protection, trademark strategies in the digital era, laws and regulations, IP information services, amongst others initiatives. 

Inventa was represented by Crystal Zhang at CIPAC to talk to and advise entrepreneurs, investors, and other attendees on the best IP strategies in China.

On September 18, Inventa had a visit from EUIPO - European Union Intellectual Property Office in our headquarters, in Lisbon. It was a pleasure to meet Alina Butuman (Key Account Manager), Tony Quintaneira Conde (examiner) and  Pedro Duarte Guimarães (Head of Service - TM Examination for Key Accounts).
