Inventa launches the 2022 edition of the “Inventa IP Review” magazine
The Inventa IP Review magazine highlights some of the IP news of the previous year, written by our team, through opinion articles, interviews or press releases. We cover relevant topics that have marked the field of innovation, trademarks, patents or intellectual property rights, mainly in Europe, Africa and Asia.
The 2022 edition shares useful information on the protection of trademarks in different jurisdictions, the entry into the Unitary Patent system and also the impact that may arise from the Russian-Ukrainian conflict in the IP field.

AIPPI World Congress
San Francisco (USA) hosted the 2022 edition of the AIPPI World Conference on 10-13 September. Organised by the AIPPI, the event brought together IP profissionals to discuss, share and exchange insights on various areas of IP.
Inventa joined the event being represented by Daniel Reis Nobre, Tiago Reis Nobre and Vitor Palmela Fidalgo, where they had the opportunity to share some of the latest news about IP in Europe and Africa.
Next year the congress will take place in Istanbul (Turkey).

First Angolan Intellectual Property Congress confirmed
After some uncertainty due to the covid-19 pandemic, the first Angolan Intellectual Property Congress is now confirmed to take place both physically and online on 23 and 24 April 2021. It will be backed by the new Angolan Intellectual Law Association (AADI) – located in Angola's Catholic University – and aims to teach attendees about the Angolan Industrial Property Law, with a particular focus on trademarks.

A year has passed since the COVID-19 pandemic created an unprecedented disruption in global development. But in some way, it also allowed us to be more resilient and find new routes of communicating.
The path of Intellectual Property was no different.
China Trademark Festival 2020
The city of Nanchang hosted the 12th China Trademark Festival, an event dedicated to national and international Intellectual Property (IP) strategy, mainly regarding chinese trademarks and brands.
From December 5 to December 7, 2020, Inventa International joined the festival, represented by Crystal Zhang, with the purpose to exchange some ideas regarding protection of IP rights and internationalization of chinese brands.
