The city of Shenzhen, in Guangdong province, once again hosted the China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF), one of the largest technology fair in China. 

Inventa International recently reinforced its team with the entry of Marisol Cardoso, as Patent Consultant, and Helga Mota, for the role of Paralegal.

With the hiring of Marisol Cardoso, Inventa International intends to reinforce the consultancy specialized in patent protection to its clients. Marisol has a solid career in Intellectual Property, worked for more than a decade as a Technical Patent Consultant. Currently, she is also attending the Master in Economics and Management of Science, Technology and Innovation at ISEG, in Lisbon.

The city of Guangdong hosted the 2019 IP EXPO, an event dedicated to the international Intellectual Property (IP) community that focused on this region’s potential.

The event was focused on the construction of scientific and technological innovation center with global influence, and further build a Guangdong - Hong Kong – Macao bay area brand featured by internationalization, high-end level and large scale.

Web Summit brought back to Lisbon the most innovative ideas and startups, mainly related to the tech business.

As usual Inventa International team attended this event to raise awareness among entrepreneurs about the best ways to protect their innovations and Intellectual Property assets.

For two days Intellectual Property was at the center of the debate, in Lisbon due to the IV Intellectual Property Congress.

This initiative, organized by Almedina Publishing and APDI – Portuguese Association for Intellectual Property, had the support of Inventa International and allowed the participants to access a participated agenda, with access to a panel of expert speakers and moderators on IP matters.

London was chosen to receive 2019 AIPPI World Congress. As usual, the event gathered a significant number of Intellectual Property (IP) professionals from all around the globe.

Inventa International has just reinforced its team by hiring Crystal Zhang, who will take the role of IP Legal Consultant.

Crystal will support Chinese speaking clients, on protecting their Intellectual Property (IP) assets in all jurisdictions covered by Inventa International. Due to her legal background and previous experience working in different business areas, she’ll also contribute to the setup of the best strategies to protect our clients IP interests.

HangZhou received the 10th Edition of CIPAC - China Intellectual Property Conference. This major event brings together a wide number of Intellectual Property (IP) professionals, from all industries.

Júlia Coutinho has recently joined Inventa International to occupy the IP Legal Consultant position, thus reinforcing Africa's legal team.

With background training and professional experience in Law, Júlia supports the clients in the protection of their Intellectual Property (IP) interests across the African jurisdictions, ensuring that all legal procedures comply with the local legal requirements.

Inventa International and Ponto de Vista organized the 2nd Angolan Congress of Industrial Property, that took place in Luanda, on 25 and 26 April 2019.

The event gathered a wide panel of specialists to discuss the Industrial Property panorama in Angola.
