Inventa International team got together for its annual Team Building activity.

The event focused on promoting not only the team spirit as well as the wellbeing and physical activity of the workers. Padel, Football and Zumba were the chosen sports that helped to promote teamwork and fun between coworkers from different departments.

On 25 and 26 April 2019 Epic Sana hotel in Luanda will receive the 2nd Angolan Intellectual Property Congress, an event organized by Inventa International and Ponto de Vista.

Inventa International has just reinforced its patents team by hiring Vítor Sérgio Moreira, a Chemical Engineer who’s specialized in patents.

Vítor has a solid background in the field of Chemical Engineering, from which stands out a period of more than ten years working with Patents, at the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) in Brazil. He’s also experienced in working with companies and other entities that operate at international level.

Web Summit is the world’s most well-known technology conference, not only for presenting the state of the art in tech, but also for being a launch platform for startup companies. Innovation and entrepreneurship are at the core of this event, that chose Lisbon to be its home for the next 10 years.

We couldn´t miss this event, not only because it takes place next door to our Lisbon Office, but mostly and foremost because it embodies what we aim to help our partners and clients to secure – intelligence.

Vítor Palmela Fidalgo from Inventa International was one of the guest speakers at the II International Congress Carlos Fernández-Nóvoa: New Trends in Competition Law and Industrial Property.

This event, promoted by Vigo’s University, in Spain, gathered a set of renowned professionals to debate the upcoming trends in this field of expertise.

This year’s AIPPI’s World Congress was held in Cancun. This is one of the most awaited initiatives by the Intellectual Property professionals, has, it is an opportunity to debate the latest issues concerning IP worldwide.

As usual, Inventa International attended this event, participating in lectures about several topics that make today’s IP agenda. The issues that Artificial Intelligence brings to IP was one of the themes that stood out.

Marques Annual Conference took place in September and Inventa International couldn’t miss this event, that gathers experts to debate the latest issues concerning Intellectual Property.

This year the event was held in Paris, which provided the perfect scenario to address a wide range of branding related topics such as branding, design and luxury goods.

EU Copyright Reform, Trade Secrets Directive, UDRP Reform and Brexit were also on the agenda. 

On April 26th and 27th, it was held the 1st Angolan Congress of Industrial Property, organized by Ponto de Vista, in partnership with Inventa International and the Angolan Institute of Industrial Property (IAPI).

Inventa International will be present in the first edition of Web Summit in Portugal. This year's edition will take place in Lisbon, between 7 and 10 November, with the expected participation of more than 50,000 professionals and a thousand international investors.
